It was one of those nights // Partying

The best nights out are the ones that end on the dance floor with some of your best friends, and in the bar you love the most. This happens to be Zaphods.

These are the nights that start out without a plan. You decide to spend quality time with a few people who you love, but haven’t seen in a while.

You make dinner together just to enjoy each others company. You start out with a few drinks, and become immersed in conversations about your personal-life-experiences. Sworn to never be repeated or leave the room. One friend suggests you go from club to pub to pub to visit more of your friends you haven’t seen in a long time.

You’re down for whatever. Someone drives to the club. You enjoy shots with old and new friends. Drink to celebrate the lack-of-occasion, the happiness you feel, and a life worth living. Along the way you meet up with more and more friends. You drink more shots to celebrate the same. You hear good, happy music on your adventure. You randomly meet players from the Ottawa Senators. This makes your one friend ecstatic because it’s his favourite team. And you shake their hands too, so you can say you did.

Nearing 1am you receive a text from your best friend asking if you’ll meet her and your other besties at Zaphods. You say yes, and end your night there. Dancing in a circle with Nathan, the lead singer of The Midway State, and your best friends.

Nothing is better than nights like these. Ones you will never forget.

Live it up Daniela. Unplanned evenings always turn out the best nights of all especially when everyone get home safe and sound.

We had designated DD’s! So there was no problem with that, and for those who didn’t they took cabs!
