The new, improved, exterior and interior of the store looks wonderful! The new vibe that Slaysh emits is a more mature, sleek, and stylish one! Not to mention that it is still fun-loving, laxed, and welcoming!
I always enjoy my experiences there, but this past Saturday was even more marvellous. Sarah and her lovely staff hosted a Re-opening Party with a live performance by Sound of Lions – listen here – whose sound represented the store perfectly. My besty Caden escorted me to the event, and we were in awe of the lead singers voice! I am no music critic but their sound is bluesy, eclectic, and fresh. Caden said it was “Lauren Hill-esk”. We could be completely wrong, but we liked it, and if you do too they will be performing at Babylon Nightclub on November 25th (THIS FRIDAY).
I know it is crunch time for all of you in your undergrad, MA, and PhD programs, but you should make time to visit Slaysh and support a local with your consumerist tendencies! It was a wonderful event that I am proud to have attended, but unfortunately did not have time to purchase anything, and so will be headed back prior to Christmas vacation.

- An awe-inspiring ad. Really strikes an emotional cord bc we all have our differences. Well done! @Heineken fastcompany.com/40412848/heine… 1 day ago
